Our new lead acid double Calcium genuine Maintenence Free battery range is sourced from Atlas Battery Corporation in Korea, and marketed under the trade names of TOPSTART and EZYSTART. The SLA "Gel-type" storage batteries being supplied by PALMA Persunny Corporation in China.

Calcium alloyed batteries are unique in that the plate material are more robust, especially with respect to the soft spongy lead oxide layer, and that their self discharge rate is quoted at less than 3% per month, as apposed to 1% per day for conventional lead antimony batteries.

This makes these types of batteries very suitable for every-day use, and ideal for installations with intermitant use, such as in marine and campervans. They are robust and serve the car engine market admirably.

WHAT IS A RECONDITIONED LEAD ACID BATTERY

A Nu Life reconditioned battery has been chemically treated to remove normally accumulated excess lead sulphate and then fully recharged if the active layers are deemed satisfactory. Such units are then fully load tested to ensure that they comply with our stringent requirements.

This unique system can also be applied to sealed units, and all batteries are fully guaranteed for 90 days from date of purchase.
